Here’s the finished teapot with a replacement lid. I used the template that I had cut the opening in the top of the teapot with to make the replacement, but due to shrinkage issues (clay for the lid may not have been at the same leather hard state as the teapot when I cut the opening) and glaze application, the replacement lid is a whisker too large and doesn’t sit down into the hole. I’ll have another go at making a new lid this week.
